MWAN Edo Celebrates Children’s Day, 2020

1) An essay competition with the theme “Effects of teleconferencing in the educational sector during the covid 19 pandemic” was carried out for children ages 10 to 20. All participants were sent e-certificates of participation by email. The 2 winners were presented their cheques in a total of N50,000 through a zoom award ceremony. The winner for the essay Competition for category 10-15years is Adesuwa Eidangbe. The winner for essay competition for category 15-20years is Deepa Alikah. Congratulations to our winners.

2) Children’s day was also commemorated with MWAN EDO sending a letter to the governor advising the state on the safety precautions to carry out to keep our schools safe for our children when they finally resume schools. The safety and well-being of every child is important to MWAN EDO.

3) Posters and video adverts saying no to child abuse were also put into circulation on social media platforms.
